Helios III is the “door to trail” running shoe designed for training and racing on hard off-road terrain. It is a product with anAt leisure vocation with light and breathable uppers made from a unique, thermo adhesive combination of rip-stop fabric, single sided mesh and reinforced TPU sandwich mesh. The fit is extremely comfortable and snug fitting, derived from the Helios SR model. The presence of the counter heel avoids crushing during the fitting phase while the soft and snug cuff with 3D Foam pads guarantees a perfect comfort. The tread uses the highly durable FriXion Blu compound: perfect for use on hard and rocky terrain. The thermo formed toe contributes to the general lightweight of the product and helps to protect it from knocks and abrasion. The injection molded EVA midsole with MorphoDynamic technology guarantees the high cushioning which has been typical of the Helios model since its market debut, while the Cushioning Platform insert increases its cushioning properties and overall comfort. • The La Sportiva FriXion® compound is the result of extensive R&D aimed at creating outsoles with parameters of grip and durability that respond to all types of use and terrain.
• Highe degree of cushoning and high elasticity of the fabric. These features assist “push off” during the propulsion phase while running, making these models who use injected midsoles, ideal for use on off-road trails. Furthermore, EVA Injected midsole drastically reduce the “squash” effect of the EVA over time, allowing the product to mantain the same features for its entire duration.
• The Mountain Running® models use the exclusive eco-friendly La Sportiva insoles by OrthoLite® Hybrid, made using 20% recycled material from the production process. These insoles are designed for both men’s and women’s feet and the thicknesses and materials differ to suit the weight of the average user.
Shoes designed for “normal” feet with a neutral instep, neither narrow nor wide. These shoes are ideal both for narrow and wide feet.
