• 2-Zone-Lacing – Thanks to the two-zone lacing system used in the MAURIA EVO GTX Ws, the forefoot and upper have their own separately adjustable lacing zones. As a result, the shoe can be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced in different ways for ascents and descents.

The tongue includes extra padding for the outer portion of the foot, and the upper end of it is especially soft. This asymmetric padding provides effectively coordinated support to many areas of the foot. To take into account the foot’s anatomy, the recesses for the ankle area have also been placed higher on the inside than on the outside, and a flexible bending insert has been integrated into the inner side by the foot.
• WOMEN LAST – To ensure perfect fit, the lasts used for MAURIA EVO GTX Ws have been specially designed with the anatomy of women’s feet in mind. The last plays a key role in the ultimate fit of a boot. Women’s feet have less volume than men’s feet. As a result, the instep height and the ball area of these lasts have been altered.
• PADDED EDGING - Women’s calves begin lower than men’s do. For this reason, the model MAURIA EVO GTX Ws is equipped with a specially padded edging. This is both softer and more flexible.
