The ultra-modern INNOVO GTX MID Ws hiking boot not only has a double-injected and comfortably cushioning LOWA® DYNAPU® midsole, it is also based on a chunky-style outsole with extra height in the heel area offering optimal traction, thanks to the multidirectional lug design and the resulting increased contact surface. It is also a groundbreaker in terms of comfort, with a robust mix of full-grain leather and fabric, a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and numerous breathable surfaces. All this, combined with a spoiler-like collar, extended two-zone lacing and locking hooks, ensures the optimal fit. • GORE-TEX® – Guaranteed weather protection, even in pouring rain and heavy snow: The INNOVO GTX MID Ws is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane. The innovative technology delivers optimal waterproof protection and breathability.
• DOUBLE INJECTION - To provide effective cushioning and improved comfort, the sole of the INNOVO GTX MID Ws is bonded to the upper in a technically demanding injection process. The upper boot is placed into a specially designed mould. Various layers of PU foam padding are then poured into it. In the process, the sole and upper are bonded together.
• SUPPORT FRAME - With the LOWA MONOWRAP® frame, the midsole of the INNOVO GTX MID Ws provides the very best comfort. This three-dimensional midsole design was developed by LOWA in 1995. The frame comfortably cradles the foot and support it when the shoe wearer ventures across uneven surfaces. The sole design is slightly raised for shoes with a SUPPORT FRAME.
• Dyna PU - LOWA DynaPU®+ is used in the INNOVO GTX MID Ws. This is a specially developed foam padding used in the midsole of footwear. It plays a key role in the rolling properties and the cushioning of the footwear. The new LOWA DynaPU®+ offers even better recovery behaviour thanks to its special cell structure. This, in turn, creates an improved rebound effect for athletes. Even with constant use, the recovery behaviour does not lose any of its high performance qualities.
• WOMEN LAST – To ensure perfect fit, the lasts used for INNOVO GTX MID Ws have been specially designed with the anatomy of women’s feet in mind. The last plays a key role in the ultimate fit of a boot. Women’s feet have less volume than men’s feet. As a result, the instep height and the ball area of these lasts have been altered.
• The sole of the LOWA® TERRA TRAC® Ws impresses with a combination of a multidirectional profile alignment and many individual elements with straight folds, which provide a high level of grip for your next hike. The sole also has a distinctive heel edge that enhances wearing comfort.
